The Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System (FED) has published in the Federal Register the annual inflation adjustment to the civil money penalty amounts for certain conduct violations under the Bank Holding Company Act, the Federal Deposit Insurance Act, the Federal Reserve Act and / or subsequent orders and regulations. The adjustments apply to (bank) holding companies and savings institutions. The amount is determined by the number of violations and the type of violation.
