A new version of the United Nations Sanctions (Iraq) (Control of Gold, Securities, Payments and Credits) Regulation was published on Hong Kong’s e-Legislation platform, the official website of the Hong Kong government for publicizing legal texts.
Generally speaking, the Regulation primarily implements sanction measures towards Iraq as regards the transfer, sale, purchase of or activities in „Gold, Securities, Payments and Credits“ pursuant to one or more UN resolutions.
This latest revised version contains modifications in the entire document and in the schedule. As far as our analysis revealed, only the „enacting provisions“ were removed in this new version.
