Immatriculation à l’Orias des SGP au titre de leur activité de courtage en assurance

On 14 February 2023, the Association Française de la Gestion financière (AFG) published a press release, informing about the implication of the reform of insurance brokerage in 2022, which now requires insurance brokers to join a specific professional association.
Yet asset management companies (AMCs) are expressly exempt for this, pursuant to part II of Article L 513-3 of the Insurance Code.
In this context, when registering or requesting renewal of your structure with Orias (the single register of intermediaries in insurance, banking and finance), and pending an evolution of its computer system, AMCs are invited to send, instead of the certificate of membership to a approved association, a proof of approval as an AMC.
