DNB has requested investment firms and investment fund managers to report any issues encountered in filling out prudential reports (FINREP and IFREP) to DNB.
Previous announcements have highlighted concerns about data quality in these reports submitted by the mentioned entities.
Errors in these reports have been identified through DNB’s inspections, potentially leading to unreliable or incomparable information, hindering the assessment of the financial situation and risks of supervised institutions.
DNB has initiated various measures to address this, such as the consultation on „Good practices Guidance on prudential reporting for investment firms and investment fund managers“ (please see EventID #23753).
DNB will organise knowledge sessions for report handlers of institutions to address issues faced in completing prudential reports. DNB is keen on understanding the experiences and problems encountered by institutions in this process, urging them to provide detailed and specific feedback by 17 November 2023**, via email to natin-bobi@dnb.nl with the subject „Datakwaliteit rapportages“ (Data Quality Reports).
